Time for Change in the Fashion& Lifestyle Industry
Amanda Fone and Adrian Walcott, Co-Founders of BAME2020, hosted the ‘Fashion& Lifestyle – Time for Change’ Event in late October where we were delighted to welcome an impressive line-up of speakers from the industry and over 80 guests.
The Fashion & Lifestyle industry faces many challenges in a world where the high street is under threat and consumers are enjoying a bigger voice. More than ever there is an expectation for organisations to be culturally relevant to have any chance of connecting effectively with their audiences.
We heard some truly inspiring talks from the following:
Maneeze Chowdhury, CEO and Akeil Onwukwe-Adamson, Account Executive of Exposure a leading Fashion & Lifestyle communications agency responding to the challenge through their work with clients.
Laboni Saha, Founder & Creative Director of L Saha, a luxury womenswear brand, took her career into her own hands in building her own label.
We also welcomed two excellent social change initiatives that are part of the BAME2020 network already working and engaging with diverse communities, rich with talented and ambitious people. Their website details are below if you want to find out more about how you can become involved with the invaluable work they are doing with youngsters.
